1 cup millet
2 cups water
1 organic apple, sliced
2 tablespoons dried cranberries or goji berries
Walnuts or Almonds, chopped or slivered
1/2 cup milk of choice (e.g., unsweetened vanilla cashew or almond milk)
Rinse millet under cold water in a fine mesh strainer.
Place damp seeds in a sauté pan. Add water. Cook over medium heat.
Bring pot to a boil then cover and simmer for 20 minutes until the water has evaporated and the seeds have separated.
Add in the rest of the ingredients and serve.
You can mix the ingredients through the millet once it is cooked or sever over top. Whatever you prefer.
