I specialize in food allergies/sensitivities, nutrition and lifestyle balance.  Using an individual approach & holistic perspective, I help clients reach their wellness goals.  Fueled by the belief that “health is our greatest possession and food is our best medicine” my journey has led me from pain and sickness to a healthy body and mind!

It felt like I was falling apart at the age of 23

I had been suffering from many different digestive symptoms, I was tired all the time, nauseous and started feeling super depressed.  I didn’t know what was wrong or what to do about it, it was very scary for me.

Of course I went to the doctor, but he attributed my ‘falling apart’ as part of a lack of exercise or fiber (believe me I was getting enough of both), and diagnosing me with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).  He proceeded to write a prescription for all of my symptoms stating that we needed to find one that had side effects I could handle since “you’ll be this way for a long time”.  Not a lot of hope there.

After seeing 8 doctors in one year and multiple procedures and tests, I decided that I didn’t want to live life on prescriptions (I had a full shelf of pill bottles in my room) and that it was time to take charge of my health! There was no way I was going to feel that awful for the rest of my life.


Knowing what I know now

Thinking about my state of health back then, I am so grateful that I had the drive and ability to research my symptoms, try different diets and wellness programs, and choose not stop until I felt better! I honestly can’t even imagine the quality of life I would be ‘living.’  The good news is that I finally found the diet that agreed with me.  My body required a gluten free, dairy free diet.  All 8 doctors missed this diagnosis.

I believe in bio-individuality: one man’s food is another man’s poison.  My style is to remove the idea of a one-size-fits-all diet in favor of customized nutritional programs with guidelines that are designed for you and grounded in bio-individuality.

A balanced diet and good health through nutrition is easy to obtain once I meet you where you are in your life. From here, I teach you how to eat the best foods possible that work for your body, and make other lifestyle changes necessary to be the best you!  I was trained in more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods.

Drawing on this knowledge, I will help you create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.
