Beauty-Rich Eating

The skin is our largest organ and absorbs 60% of what you put on it. Something for you to consider: How many beauty products are you using through the week?  How many ingredients are listed on the bottle? On average, women use a combination of “beauty” products every day containing around 168 ingredients! Most of them made up of a toxic chemical mix that is absorbed into the body.

That is not what I’m looking for when trying to help my skin be its best.  I know that what I put in my body matters and will contriubte to either reversing aging or promoting aging. When you eat well, your skin, hair and nails will show it!

 

Here are a few foods to naturally promote glowing, healthy skin:

Radishes

The radish is one of the most rejuvenating foods for our bodies. High in sulfur, silicon and vitamin C. These all play a major role in connective tissue formation and working together to create glowing skin!

Aloe Vera

Believed to be a food of long-lasting youth and rapid healing. The anti-inflammatory power in acute inflammation is one of its best known actions. The gel of the Aloe Vera can be used topically or add to your daily juice.

 

Arugula

Highly alkalizing ranking high in sulfur and vitamin A. The perfect combination to help protect skin from sun damage. Vitamin A also helps to inhibit acne.

 

Fermented Food

Helps us properly digest our foods to get all the healthy-skin promoting nutrients and minerals into our bodies, to give us a beautiful glow and help reverse aging lines. ie: sauerkraut, kimchi, yogurt, Kombucha tea

 

Start incorporating these foods with a balanced diet to eat your way to beautiful skin Everyday.
